A new division of Flexforce Recruitment, "TalentHound" offers innovative training specifically geared towards 18 to 24 year olds where competition for employment is high and it's difficult to stand out from the crowd. The course is a mix of personal development and practical skills and includes psychometric profiling, successful interview skills and techniques, a practical guide to the modern recruitment process, presentation skills, work experience with mentoring companies, a personal development plan and post course support including pre-interview preparation. The course runs 6 days over 2 weeks and are held in the new training suite at Flexforce Recruitment's Broad Street offices in Hereford. Training is delivered by Recruitment, HR and Business experts with proven track records of achievement within their field. Course numbers are strictly limited so book soon!

Research shows that Employers perceive recruiting young jobseekers to be more expensive due to the training required. When the economy is growing employers hire for potential, when times are tough, practical skills and experience that bring immediate benefits, are more in demand. Given this, it is going to remain difficult for young people trying to establish a foothold in the labour market for the foreseeable future. In early 2010, unemployment rose to 2.51 million – a million of whom were aged between 16 and 24. Latest figures show that youth unemployment still runs at almost 19%" (*ONS 12.12.12).
